For over 10 years, HT Marker has supplied reliable industrial marking equipment and professional marking solutions to customers worldwide.
Each machine is inspected, tested, and configured by our technical team before shipment, helping you choose the right solution with less risk and greater confidence.
Your business needs more than a machine with impressive specifications. You need a marking solution that is suitable for your material, easy to operate, dependable in daily production, and supported when technical questions arise.
Through long-term cooperation with more than 10 manufacturing partners, we carefully evaluate equipment quality, marking performance, component reliability, and after-sales support. This allows you to choose from proven marking solutions without spending unnecessary time comparing complicated technical specifications.
From machine selection and sample testing to configuration, installation guidance, and after-sales support, HT Marker helps you reduce purchasing risks and put the right marking solution into production with confidence.
HT Marker Team
Our articles and selection guides are published under the shared name HT Marker Team. We explain marking technologies, material compatibility, machine configurations and the checks that help you choose a suitable solution. For advice about your own parts, contact our team for machine selection, free sample testing, configuration and after-sales support.
For an application recommendation, share your material, part dimensions, the text or code to be marked, and the required result. Sample testing helps you compare the finish and agree the configuration before ordering. Talk to HT Marker about your application →
Application Review & Sample Acceptance
Start with your actual part and the result you need. Use this checklist to compare a proposed machine setup, evaluate a marked sample and confirm what will be supplied before you order.
1. Material & surface condition
Give us the material grade, hardness if known, surface finish and any coating. Test a representative part in the production condition. If it will be painted, plated or cleaned afterwards, inspect the mark after that finishing process.
2. Mark content & readability
Agree the text, serial number, logo or code, its size and the marking location. Check characters at the intended viewing distance and scan codes with the intended reader. If a formal code-quality grade is required, agree the verification method; a successful scan alone does not establish that grade.
3. Part access & workholding
Check the part dimensions, weight, curvature and marking position. Confirm the focus height or pin clearance and the fixture used to hold the part. Magnetic holding needs a suitable material and contact area; non-magnetic parts need another holding method.
4. Finish, depth & part quality
Choose the result you need: visible contrast, a permanent indentation or material removal. Where depth matters, agree the target and measurement method against the part drawing. Check the sample for readability, burrs, distortion and any surface damage that matters to the application.
5. The complete production cycle
Include loading, alignment, marking, inspection and unloading when assessing throughput. Repeat the trial using the intended text or code and the production fixture. Marking time alone should not be used as the finished-parts-per-hour figure.
6. The configuration supplied
Record the model, laser power or pin-drive type, marking area, fixture or rotary option, software, and electrical or air requirements. Match the quoted configuration to the sample setup, then confirm the agreed support and delivery terms.
Worked Selection Examples
These examples show how to use the checklist. Part details and cycle times below are planning assumptions to adapt to your own job.
Painted carbon-steel valve identification

Job: Assume a valve needs a serial number in an 80 × 20 mm area, followed by painting. A portable dot peen setup is a practical starting point when the part is difficult to move.
Trial candidate: HS-PE02 has a published 90 × 30 mm field and electric pin drive. Check the actual curvature and fixture; magnetic holding needs a suitable steel contact surface.
Acceptance: agree the permitted indentation depth, run the full paint process, and inspect the final serial number. For a code, also check it with the intended reader.
Small codes on white ABS housings

Job: Assume a white ABS housing needs a 10 × 10 mm code with clear edges and little visible surface damage.
Trial candidate: consider the 5W, 355nm HS-UV05 for a sample trial. Use the actual resin grade and pigment; plastic formulation changes the marking response.
Acceptance: compare contrast and edge quality, inspect the housing, and scan at the intended position. Agree formal verification separately if your customer requires a code-quality grade.
Capacity example: count the whole cycle
Assume 5 seconds to load, 2 to position, 3 to mark, 2 to inspect and 3 to unload: 15 seconds per part. That gives 3,600 ÷ 15 = 240 parts/hour before interruptions. At an assumed 80% productive operating time, plan around 192 parts/hour.
This is a planning calculation, not a measured HS-PE02 or HS-UV05 output. Replace the assumed times with your fixture and sample-trial timings before sizing production.
Agree the sample before confirming the order
Ready to approve: the sample meets the agreed appearance, depth or code-reading checks, and the quote matches the tested setup.
Adjust and test again: the result or complete cycle needs improvement. Change the agreed parameters, fixture or model and compare the new sample.
More information needed: the material, finish, drawing or acceptance requirement is still unclear. Confirm it before choosing a configuration.
For free sample testing, send a part photo or drawing, material details, the text or code to mark, and your required result. Keep the agreed setup and acceptance notes with your quotation.
