HS-DE01 Benchtop Electric Dot Peen Marking Machine: Deeper Marks, No PC or Compressor
Deep, Permanent Marks at Your Bench
The HS-DE01 is a benchtop electric dot peen marker for steel plates, machined parts and metal tags. It marks 0.05–0.8 mm deep in a 160 × 100 mm window, deeper than our other electric benchtop models. It needs no PC and no air compressor. Plug it in, type on the touchscreen and mark.
Built for Plates, Parts and Tags
⚡ 100% electric, no air needed No compressor to buy or maintain, and quieter than a pneumatic marker. It suits a workshop bench or a small production line.
🖥️ Touchscreen with built-in software Design logos, type text, number serials automatically or make Data Matrix and QR codes on the 7-inch screen. Excel or TXT lists can be imported. No computer needed.
🔩 Up to 0.8 mm deep HEF (High-Frequency Electric) drive and height compensation (up to 3 mm) keep marks even on plates and slightly uneven parts. Harder steel gives a shallower mark; above HRC 60, dot peen is not recommended.
🛠️ Hardened HRC 67 marking pin Built for daily marking on steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass.
🚀 Plug and play With the simple interface and our video guide, most teams mark their first part in under 10 minutes.
Need more than 0.8 mm, or marking very hard steel every day? Choose the pneumatic HS-DE01-P (0.05–1.0 mm). Marking thin, painted or anodized tags? See our metal tag engraving machines.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is HS-DE01 best for?
Steel and stainless plates, machined parts and metal tags that need a deeper mark: 0.05–0.8 mm in a 160 × 100 mm window, with a built-in 7-inch touchscreen. For thin, painted or anodized items and very fine graphics, a fiber laser is the better choice.
How deep can HS-DE01 mark?
You set the impact force; the depth you get depends on the material. The range is 0.05–0.8 mm. Harder steel gives a shallower mark, so test a first mark on the real part. Use lighter impact on thin parts to avoid bending them.
Does HS-DE01 need compressed air or a PC?
No. It runs on AC 100–240 V and has a built-in 7-inch controller, so it needs no air compressor and no PC. A stable fixture still helps with small tags or irregular parts.
Can it mark a curved object automatically?
The product table lists height compensation for moderate unevenness up to 3 mm. That does not remove the need for a fixture, accessible local surface and first-article check on a curved item.
What quality checks, warranty and support come with HS-DE01?
HS-DE01 machines are checked before shipment, including a 48-hour aging test and QC. Free Sample Testing is available when material or mark acceptance needs a physical trial. We provide a one-year warranty on key components. HT Marker provides lifetime technical support for the HS-DE01. If a fault occurs, send a photo or video, machine serial number and symptom; our engineering team offers remote diagnostics within 24 hours.
How long does HS-DE01 take to ship?
Most HS-DE01 orders are processed and tested within 3–5 business days. Shipping usually takes 5–10 business days depending on destination. We use industrial packaging and can confirm the route and timing for your order.
