30W Desktop Fiber Laser Marking Machine for Metal Parts
Overview
The HS-FL30 is a 30W desktop fiber laser marking workstation for serial numbers, QR/Data Matrix codes, logos and traceability marks on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and other compatible metals. Selected engineering plastics can also be marked when their resin, colorant and laser additives respond to 1064 nm fiber laser energy; confirm the result on the actual material before production.
What the HS-FL30 is designed to do
- 30W fiber laser for production marking: suited to fine identification, barcodes, logos and light engraving on compatible metal parts.
- Galvo speed up to 7,000 mm/s: this is scanner speed; actual cycle time also depends on artwork size, hatch spacing, passes, loading and focusing.
- Integrated desktop workstation: laser, scanner, controller, computer and marking software are assembled as one station.
- Low routine consumable use: no ink or marking needles are required. Protective windows, extraction filters and normal cleaning or cooling components remain service items.
- 50,000+ hour source design life: this refers to the fiber laser source under suitable operating conditions, not a guarantee that every component is maintenance-free for that period.
A practical 30W workstation for repeatable part identification
Choose the HS-FL30 when you need fine, permanent marks on metal parts in a fixed desktop work area. Share the material grade, part size, required marking area, code size and target cycle time so the lens, fixture and process can be matched before ordering.

Up to 7,000 mm/s
The galvo scanner supports marking speeds up to 7,000 mm/s. Finished-part throughput varies with mark size, fill density, number of passes, contrast target and part handling.
Production-Ready Workstation
The integrated desktop format is intended for repeat production in a controlled work area. Confirm the required duty cycle, ambient temperature, extraction and safety enclosure with the selected configuration.

Integrated Setup
The workstation combines the laser, scanner, control computer and software. Installation still requires correct power, focusing, ventilation or fume extraction, operator training and the agreed laser-safety measures.
50,000+ Hour Source Design Life
The fiber laser source is specified for a theoretical/design life of 50,000+ hours under suitable conditions. The workstation still requires lens and protective-window cleaning, ventilation checks and replacement of normal service parts when needed.

Applications
The HS-FL30 is best suited to direct part marking on compatible metals and selected laser-responsive plastics. Typical jobs include serial numbers, QR/Data Matrix codes, logos, tool identification, jewelry personalization and component traceability. Mark quality depends on the exact alloy or polymer, surface finish, lens, focus and parameter development.

30W or 50W: which configuration fits?
| Choose 30W when | The priority is fine IDs, QR/Data Matrix codes, logos, light engraving and general metal-part marking. |
| Consider 50W when | You need more process margin for deeper multi-pass engraving, larger filled graphics or higher throughput on suitable metals. |
| Do not choose by wattage alone | Material grade, mark size, lens/field size, required depth or contrast, cycle time and laser-source pulse characteristics also affect the result. |
Specifications are configuration-dependent. Confirm the final laser source, lens, marking field, software and accessories on the quotation.

Why choose HT Marker?
Comprehensive Marking Ecosystem
We help match the laser power, lens, marking field, fixture and software to the actual part. For HS-FL30 orders, provide the material grade, surface finish, part dimensions, code size, required depth or contrast and target cycle time.
Before shipment, confirm the agreed model, laser source, lens, voltage, computer/software, accessories and marking field. If a specific aging test, sample-marking procedure or inspection record is required, include it in the quotation and order requirements.
Available documents, certification scope, warranty coverage and remote-support arrangements depend on the ordered configuration and destination. Ask for the applicable files before purchase. For application review, send material and part photos, the required mark, field size and expected production rate; physical samples can be discussed when they are genuinely needed.
Before You Order: 3 Inputs That Determine Results

Confirm the Material & Surface
Specify the metal grade or polymer type, coating, color and surface finish. Fiber laser absorption and the achievable color, contrast or depth vary by material; selected plastics should be tested rather than assumed compatible.

Match the Work Area & Lens
Provide the largest part dimensions and required marking field. A larger field lens covers more area but changes spot size and energy density, so the 110 × 110 mm standard field is not automatically the best choice for every job.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials can the HS-FL30 mark?
The 1064 nm fiber source is primarily intended for metals such as stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, brass, copper, titanium and many coated or anodized surfaces. It can also mark selected laser-responsive ABS, PC and other engineering plastics, but polymer formulation and additives matter; confirm the appearance on the actual material.
How deep can a 30W fiber laser engrave?
The current HS-FL30 specification lists engraving depth up to 0.2 mm on suitable materials. Actual depth depends on alloy, focus, field lens, pulse settings, hatch spacing, number of passes and heat management. Treat 0.2 mm as a configuration-dependent upper value, not a guaranteed single-pass result.
Should I choose 30W or 50W?
Choose 30W for fine identifiers, QR/Data Matrix codes, logos and light engraving where detail and general-purpose marking are the priority. Consider 50W when deeper multi-pass engraving, larger filled areas or more process margin is needed. The final choice should also consider the laser-source type, lens, material and target cycle time.
Does the machine need consumables or routine maintenance?
The process does not use ink, chemical etchant or dot-peen needles. Routine costs can still include protective windows or lenses, extraction filters, fixture wear, cleaning materials and other normal service parts. Keep the optics clean and maintain ventilation or fume extraction according to the working environment.
How long does the fiber laser source last?
The fiber laser source is specified for a theoretical/design life of 50,000+ hours under suitable temperature, power quality, cooling and cleanliness conditions. This figure applies to the source; scanners, computers, fans, optics and other workstation components have their own service lives and warranty terms.
What information is needed for a recommendation and delivery estimate?
Send the material grade, coating or surface finish, part dimensions, marking field, artwork or code sample, required depth/contrast, parts per hour, voltage and destination. We can then recommend the lens, accessories and 30W/50W configuration and provide an order-specific production and shipping estimate. If remote review is insufficient, physical sample testing can be discussed.
